- Present Co-founded, designed, and developed a suite of fitness oriented websites, incluing mapmyrun.com, mapmyride.com, and mapmywalk.com. MapMyFitness websites provide community-based fitness content, tools, calculators, and mapping technologies. Designed and developed firmware for DigiLinx line of streaming audio and
home control products: Ported Java Virtual Machine to custom
firmware running on TI 6711; Developed features for streaming
synchronous audio to multiple locations over multi-cast UDP; Lighting
control features. Design hardware and software for testing of
product line: Embedded x86 test platform with audio analysis and DAQ
interface; Automated test development; Supported deployments for internal
engineering development and in overseas manufacturing facilities.
Leveraged technology includes C, C++, C#, Java, Windows CE, Windows XP
embedded, DAQs, Logic Analyzers, oscilloscopes.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
January 1999 - January 2005
Software Research and development: Authored bring up
diagnostics for eighth-generation PC microprocessors, motherboards, and
chip-sets. Project Leader of a HyperTransport™ and DDR pattern generator
suite used for characterizing new platform designs. Low-level programming
in C and assembly. Designed and implemented Linux and Windows
client/server interfaces. Linux kernel modification and module development
for i386 and x86-64. Developed diagnostic test strategies for Linux based
systems, including a custom Linux distribution for diagnostic deployment
across multiple platforms. Embedded systems design of USB peripherals used
for automated system test. |
